About Us

At an early age, my life's route merged with the deep elements of love, courtesy, happiness, and mythology as I navigated the waters, journeying from Kinali Island to the Edremit Gulf during my teenage years. Moving forward, my focus shifted towards a great fascination with maritime vessels, rather than those on land or in the air. The initial experience of being at sea and in a harbor created a sense of pleasure, which served as a driving force for my engagement in the process of constructing a boat. I found myself particularly drawn to the tasks involving labor, maintenance, and repair, gaining a greater sense of enjoyment from these aspects of the work. At the age of 18, I started to navigate  my first boat, and since then, with the same interest and attention, I have always had a boat that has allowed me to be a passenger on the vast blues for 22 years. During this period, I have also made sailing a part of my life, at what some may consider to be too early of an age, but which is, in my opinion, far too late.

Twenty years as a licensed racer in Istanbul and the southern areas have taught me a lot about marine life, including how to compete against the power of nature alongside talented and gentlemanly people. I wanted to give this never-ending learning a commercial dimension by bringing the Mona Marine brand to life, thus the Rock Marine brand and Mona Marine set sail together. Years of commercial expertise and knowledge aside, we enjoyed a very successful first year with Rock Marine with the beauty and peace of mind of surrendering, knowing that learning at sea will never end.
