Yacht Preparation Processes

From the moment your yacht arrives at the delivery location, the experienced Mona Marine team carefully manages the entire process. We follow well-established, proven procedures to ensure a flawless handover.

A standard yacht delivery process includes:

  • Completion of customs procedures and official handover
  • Yacht asset analysis and detailed condition assessment
  • Rigging setup and keel installation for sailing yachts
  • Antifouling application (sanding, primer, and final coat)
  • Comprehensive tests and inspections before launch
  • Sea trials and performance evaluations
  • Warranty activation and initial setup of systems such as engines, generators, and navigation electronics (in coordination with authorized service providers)

After-Sales Services

Service Process Example:

  • Request Submission: The yacht owner or captain reports the issue to the Mona Marine team, either verbally or in writing. Our naval engineers assess the request.
  • Diagnosis: A detailed investigation is conducted to determine the root cause of the issue. On-site inspections are carried out if necessary, and the warranty coverage of the issue is evaluated.
  • Quotation: A detailed written quote—including required original spare parts and expert labor costs—is provided to the yacht owner.
  • Issue Resolution: The most suitable technician is assigned to the job, and they receive the necessary materials along with the work order.
  • Reporting: * Upon completion, a detailed report—including photographs—is shared with the yacht owner.
